The $1.5 billion ORNL Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge, Tenn., has promoted Bronce Rodgers to the newly created position of vice president of loss mitigation.

Rodgers joined the 161,000-member ORNL FCU last August as assistant vice president of collections. IN his new position, he will provide leadership to the Collections and Fraud departments and have responsibility for the credit union's insurance coverage, ORNL said in its announcement.

“We believe delivering enhanced value to our members includes building a staff of smart, experienced and caring financial services professionals,” CEO Chris Johnson said in the announcement.

Rodgers came to the 32-branch credit union from First Tennessee Bank, where had managed that bank's national bankruptcy portfolio. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and of the Nashville School of Law, his new employer said.
