Heather Anderson has been promoted to executive editor of Credit Union Times, effective Aug. 5.
Anderson has been the publication's Washington reporter since April 2012 and had served as a San Diego-based correspondent from 2005 through 2010.
In her new role, Anderson will be responsible for the activities of Credit Union Times' staff reporters, editors and designers and for the weekly print publication. She will report to Publisher/Editor Sarah Snell Cooke and succeeds Managing Editor Donald Shoultz, who left Credit Union Times on Aug. 2 and has launched an editorial consultancy.
