United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union,Tinton Falls, N.J., recently named Daryl Adams andThomas Della Monica as UTF's first ever externallending officers. In this position, both Adams and Della Monicawill be responsible for generating external business by reachingnew members in the communities UTF serves and assisting thesepeople with their lending needs. Adams joins the UTF team afterpreviously working at Chase Bank as a relationship banker/smallbusiness banking specialist.  Before that, he was a salesmanager for Bridge Point Mortgage Co. Della Monica will be usinghis experience as a personal banker and branch manager at WellsFargo in this new position.  He also spent some time atBank of America as a small business banker.  Adams holds abachelor's degree in communications from Rutgers University, andDella Monica has an associate's degree in human services managementfrom The University of Phoenix.

TruMark Financial Credit Union, Trevose, Pa.,announced multiple promotions in several key positions. The creditunion promoted two senior vice presidents, VinceMarket, chief financial officer, and DavidObarowski, chief operating officer, to executive vicepresidents. Gerard DeVita, controller/vicepresident, and Patrick O'Halloran, vice presidentof information technology, have been promoted to senior vicepresidents. Market will continue to oversee the accounting,compliance, facilities and fraud departments. His expanded roleincludes managing the information technology department. Market, aLa Salle University graduate, is also an adjunct professor at theuniversity's School of Business. Obarowski is a certified publicaccountant, and has been TruMark Financial's controller and seniorvice president for years. His new role will now include overseeinglending operations, product development, financial, electronic andcard services. Obarowski is a graduate of Indiana University ofPennsylvania. DeVita has over 25 years of experience in the role ofvice president/controller and senior vice president/chief financialofficer in the financial services industry and has been a certifiedpublic accountant since 1985. His new responsibilities includeoverseeing the newly expanded financial analysis department andmanaging the credit union's investment portfolio, accountingdepartment and the asset-liability modeling program. DeVita is agraduate of Widener University. O'Halloran will manage all areas ofthe credit union's information technology, including networkservices, infrastructure, software development, informationsecurity, business continuity planning, telecommunications and coreoperations. O'Halloran has been in a management role at TruMarkFinancial for 15 years. O'Halloran, a graduate of RutgersUniversity.

Credit Union West, Glendale, Ariz., announcedthe promotion of Karen Roch its senior vicepresident/ chief asset management to executive vice president. Rochjoined the credit union in 1999 as the human resource manager andwas promoted to assistant vice president, human resources anddevelopment in 2002. Roch was promoted to the vice president/humanresources and development in 2004. She has overseen all aspects ofhuman resources and training, including recruitment and hiring,personnel-related issues, payroll and benefits. In 2010, she waspromoted to senior vice president/chief asset management where sheoversees technology, lending, business services, marketing andfinance. Roch is a graduate of Arizona State University, where sheearned her bachelor's of arts degree in management with an emphasisin human resources.

OSU Federal Credit Union, Corvallis, Ore.,announced that Rich Hollon, a 25-year veteran ofHewlett-Packard management, has accepted the position of assistantvice president for data processing services.Hollon will have thecharge of the core financial system to include OSU Federal's onlineand mobile banking platforms. During his quarter century withHewlett-Packard, he managed and directed several areas in itsmobile computing division and personal computing business.

St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union, St.Helens, Ore., announced the hiring of Ron Winteras its new chief technology officer. As CTO, Winter will lead thestrategic development and implementation of technology across thecredit union's information and financial systems to ensureregulatory compliance, data security and disaster recoverypreparedness. Winter brings to SCHU more than a decade ofexperience overseeing core financial systems, IT initiatives anddisaster recovery programs for credit unions. He spent most of hiscareer at Clackamas Federal Credit Union in Oregon and mostrecently served as vice president of information technology at theCredit Union of Georgia. Winter graduated from Pioneer PacificCollege in 2001 and is a member of the Credit Union NationalAssociation's Technology Council. St. Helens FCU also announced thehiring of Erin Mulkins as director of lending.Mulkins will oversee SHCU's consumer lending programs as the creditunion seeks to deepen financial relationships with current membersand strengthen its presence in Columbia County. Mulkins bringsnearly two decades of related experience to her position. She mostrecently served as vice president of lending and member serviceswith Northwest Resource Federal Credit Union.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, SanAntonio, announced the promotion of Jay Tkachuk tovice president of online services. In his new position, Tkachukwill be responsible for overseeing the credit union's digitalchannel operations which include content management, search engineoptimization and digital analytics. Tkachuk holds a bachelor'sdegree in psychology and MBA from The University of Texas atAustin. He joined SSFCU in 2008 as a user experience architect andhas since expanded the credit union's digital capabilities with thelaunch of SSFCU's online banking platform, myBranch, and myBranchmobile. His previous experience includes employment with AdvancedMicro Devices where he served as a senior web strategist. Thecredit union has also named Lorena Allen as vicepresident of mortgage services. She previously was vice presidentof mortgage at Golden 1 Credit Union in Folsom, Calif., where shewas responsible for strategic leadership and management formortgage operations, including mortgage origination, secondarymarket activities and loss mitigation.

 With more than 25 years experience in mortgagelending, Allen formerly served as vice president of the FloridaCredit Union Real Estate Network and as a member of the AdvisoryBoard of the Florida State College School of Banking, Real Estateand Insurance. She holds a bachelor of science from the Universityof North Florida.

Unitus Community Credit Union, Portland, Ore., has hired Greg Spear toserve as its chief financial officer.  As CFO, Spear willprovide strategic leadership over Unitus' financialoperations—including investments, risk management, long-termfinancial planning and accounting practices—and interact withregulatory bodies, the financial community and externalauditors.  Spear brings to Unitus three decades of relatedbanking experience, including 16 years as a CFO for financialinstitutions in the Pacific Northwest.  Most recently, heserved as CFO at Pacific Valley Bank in California. Spear is acertified public accountant with degrees from the University of LaVerne and California State University Chico.

University Federal Credit Union, Austin, Texas,announced that Heather McKissick joined the UFCUteam as vice president of human resources and organizationaldevelopment.  McKissick will be responsible for theoverall organizational development focusing on nurturing andbuilding a strong and effective human system to support strategicobjectives, and to position UFCU as employer of choice. Most recently, McKissick was CEO of Leadership Austin, a nonprofitorganization focused on leadership development throughout CentralTexas.  McKissick brings 18 years of experience across avariety of industry sectors, both for-profit andnot-for-profit.

Michigan State University Federal Credit Union,East Lansing, Mich., announced the promotion of SarahBohan to MSUFCU's newly created position of vice presidentof corporate relations. Bohan, has been with MSUFCU since Novemberof 2004, and has held a variety of staff and management positions.Most recently she served as the internal and corporatecommunications manager where she helped to establish new employeeand corporate communication functions for the credit union. Agraduate of Michigan State University, Bohan holds a bachelor offine arts degree with an emphasis in photography.

Champion Credit Union, Canton, N. C., announcedthat Jake Robinson has been promoted to vicepresident of operations. Robinson earned his bachelor of science infinance from Western Carolina University in 2010. He began hiscareer with Champion Credit Union as a management associate in 2010and was promoted to project manager in 2012. As vice president ofoperations, Robinson is responsible for the back office operationsof Champion Credit Union. Robinson graduated from the SoutheastCUNA Management School in Athens, Ga. Champion Credit Union alsoannounced that Brittainy Crawford has joined thecredit union as chief financial officer. She has a bachelor ofscience in business administration and a master of accountancy fromUNC Chapel Hill.
