The 78,000-member, $1.5 billion Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union announced 280 high school, undergraduate and graduate students received the credit union's scholarship assistance this year.

This is the 13th consecutive year that PSFCU has made the awards, that totalled $200,000 the credit union said.  PSFCU reported five students received awards of $5,000 each, 11 students received awards of $2,000 and 98 students received awards of $1,000 each.

The awards went to students from the New York City and Chicago areas. The New York-based credit union has branches in both cities.
