The $416 million credit union in Livonia, Mich., if itreaches its goal, said it will offer an additional $100 to everyonewho finances a new vehicle or refinances an existing auto loan from another financial institution during the autoloan challenge, which continues through July 31.

Co-op Services launched the challenge in April. Since then,Co-op Services said it has saved members more than $155,000 in autoloan interest.

Lisa Fawcett, vice president of marketing for Co-op Services,said the suburban Detroit credit union's website has helped to passthe word along to family and friends of members about thechallenge.

Co-op Services serves more than 49,000 members.
