The brother of the U.S. senator who introduced member business lending legislation is missing in the Rocky Mountains.
Randy Udall, brother of Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.), did not return on June 26 as expected from a six-day camping trip in the Wind River Range of Wyoming.
According to the Denver Post, the U.S. Forest Service assisted a private search firm in looking for the 61-year-old experienced backpacker over the weekend.
Mark Udall introduced the Small Business Lending Enhancement Act of 2013 on May 16. The bill would raise the member business lending cap from 12.25% of assets to 27.5%. Udall was the primary sponsor of a similar bill in the 112th Congress.
