APG Federal Credit Union, Aberdeen, Md.,announced the promotion of Susan R. Stover toassistant vice president, loan centers/sales, a new position in thecredit union. Stover will oversee APGFCU's two new Cecil Countyloan centers. She will manage a staff of seven and report to thesenior vice president, consumer lending. The loan centers, calledMy Loan Center, will offer 24/7 ATMs and serve consumers in Ceciland Harford counties. Available loans include mortgages, homeequity loans and lines of credit, vehicle loans, credit cards,personal loans, and other consumer loans. Stover joined APGFCU in2000 as a branch manager and was promoted to vice president,lending support. In 2003, she transitioned to director of saleswhere she created the credit union's service and sales culture andpioneered its outbound lending program. Stover brings over 22 yearsof experience in the financial services industry to her new role.She earned several business certifications from Harford CommunityCollege.

Educational Community Credit Union, Kalamazoo,Mich., announced the recent promotion of MicheleBoven to compliance supervisor. Boven's continuingresponsibilities include evaluating ECCU's policies, programs andprocedures to ensure compliance with all related laws andregulations applicable to the credit union. Boven has 37 years ofexperience in the financial services industry, including hercompliance leadership at the credit union since 2008. Prior to heremployment with ECCU, she served as compliance officer at FirstCommunity Federal Credit Union in Parchment. Her previousexperience also includes serving as a customer relations manager,client support analyst and compliance officer for National CityBank in Kalamazoo. She is also certified as a credit unioncompliance expert, and has a bachelor's degree in management andorganizational development from Spring Arbor University. The creditunion also announced the addition of ­JenniferKovick as IT project manager. Kovick's newresponsibilities consist of planning, organizing and integratinginformation technology projects, including managing the projectlifecycle. She has 14 years of combined credit union and projectmanagement experience, most recently having served as training andcompliance manager at Kellogg Community FCU in Battle Creek. Herprevious credit union experience also includes serving as atraining coordinator, project specialist, and branch manager ofKellogg Community FCU. Kovick comes to ECCU with a bachelor ofbusiness administration degree from Baker College as well asseveral industry specific certificates from CUNA's STAR Program andHarland Clarke's Credit Union University.

United Federal Credit Union, St. Joseph, Mich.,said Larry A. Rice has been appointed director oftechnology solutions. Rice will implement technology andinfrastructure components required to fulfill UFCU's strategictechnology vision. Rice was previously director oftechnology/information security officer at Lakeland RegionalHealthcare System, a not-for-profit, community-owned medical caresystem serving southwestern Michigan. There, he was responsible fordaily operations, infrastructure and support functions provided bythe IT, Telecommunications, Digital Imaging, and Switchboarddepartments. Rice's background includes information technologyleadership positions with Press Ganey Associates, McKesson ProviderTechnologies, and NIBCO in the South Bend/Elkhart area. Rice earneda bachelor of science degree in management information systems fromGoshen College, and an associate of science degree in ComputerScience from Indiana University South Bend. United FCU alsoannounced the appointment of Lou Ann Schafer as director ofadvertising and public relations. In her new role, Schafer willlead marketing communication strategies in support of UnitedFederal Credit Union's long-range strategic objectives. Schaferearned an MBA from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelordegree from Bowling Green State University.

Charlotte Metro Credit Union, Charlotte, N.C.,announced two promotions. Melissa Clark is now themanager of the University branch, and AndreaJordan was promoted to manager of the Ashley Road branch.Jordan was promoted to assistant branch manager of the CentralAvenue branch last November. Jordan has been with CMCU since 2005and previously served as member service advisor at the Matthewsbranch. When she moved to Charlotte eight years ago, she became acredit union member and employee in the call center. Clark beganher career at CMCU in 2005 as ATM specialist. From there, she waspromoted to account manager in 2007, teller supervisor in 2008 andmanager of the Ashley Road branch in 2011. Prior to joining CMCU,Clark was a small business owner in Florida.

CSE Federal Credit Union, Lake Charles, La.,congratulated Peggy Wright, Jim Swift andTammy Powers on their new positions. Wright hasbeen named CSE's mortgage lending manger. She has with 28 years ofexperience in the financial industry and is a certified notary/loanreview analyst. Jim Swift joins CSE from Jeff Davis Bank as memberbusiness lending officer. He has 40 years of experience, 20 ofwhich has been in commercial banking. Powers, also a certifiednotary, and CSE's new member business lending assistant.

121 Financial Credit Union, Jacksonville, Fla.,announced that Larry Rouse, manager of informationsystems, has been promoted to director of information systems.Rouse will be responsible for all aspects of information technologyand cyber security.
