The $969 million FORUM Credit Union in Indianapolis is now offering a new iPad app to its 112,100 members.
FORUM also is offering new functionality in its existing iPhone app, including account histories and calculators as well as remote check deposit capture.
The new iPad app includes transaction functionality as well as account opening and additions and online banking enrollment, system alerts and budgeting. News articles and secure messaging with a FORUM representative also are offered, the credit union said.

FORUM's technology team worked with the Software Engineering Professionals firm in Carmel, Ind., to develop the app, said Kristi Lowell, the credit union's vice president of brand strategy and development.
Lowell said In May, FORUM had 34,744 active home banking users, and 9,603 of them used a mobile app at some point. About two-thirds were iOS users and the rest were using Android devices.
"We had 424,005 total system logins, and 127,076 were done from a mobile app," Lowell said. "We expect that both of these percentages will jump with the iPad app as we are definitely seeing increased download activity since the app has been launched."
