The 106,000 members of the $906 million FORUM Credit Union are now being offered a new version of the Indianapolis credit union's CU Online banking system and apps for Androids and iPhones.

The internally developed solution drew on member feedback and includes enhanced functionality such as personal financial management tools.

"Members are able to create budgets, assign categories to their transactions, and choose cash flow accounts to build their spending charts. In addition, customizable and real time alerts via text or email are available. This new version places emphasis on easy workflow for common tasks and is user-friendly," the 106,000-member CU said in its announcement.

The apps, meanwhile, include transaction histories, bill pay, budgeting and transfer tools, secure email and alerts, along with remote deposit checking from EasCorp's Vertifi Software subsidiary, FORUM CU said. The RDC service also can be used from eligible laptop and desktop computers, the credit union said.

"We believe our new online banking system and mobile apps will add significant value to our membership and the PFM tools are in line with our philosophy of helping members improve their financial lives," said Doug True, the Forum CEO who took over the top spot late last year.
