The $6.2 billion San Diego County Credit Union has added two new branches, both in the Interstate 15 corridor of San Diego's Inland North County area.

The 245,000-member SDCCU now has 31 branches. The new facilities are at Rancho Bernardo on Bernardo Plaza Drive and Rancho Penasquitos on Black Mountain Road, SDCCU said.

The two new branches offer loan and new account stations, teller windows, safe deposit boxes and an exterior state-of-the-art ATM, the credit union said.

"We are extremely excited about these two branches, which demonstrate our market-leading position that provides breakthrough banking expertise along with an expanding customer base and a desire to serve the needs of our North County customers with products and services," SDCCU President/CEO Teresa Halleck said in a statement.
