The $3.76 billion Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU has found success communicating withmembers and the public via an online video channelthat provides financial reporting, economic updates and generalinformation intended to educate and entertain.


Since launching the site in February, the 866-member corporatehas posted more than 50 videos to its FInection site, and hasgenerated more than 4,800 views.


“FInection is a fun, engaging way to share news and interactwith the credit union community,” said Jay Murray, president/CEO.“Sometimes we share important but basic information. Other times,FInection is educational or helps us add interest and humor to ourcommunications. We enjoy making the process interactive andentertaining.”


The name FInection comes from a combination of financial andconnection, Mid-Atlantic said in a release, and itcan be viewed from a computer, tablet or mobile device. While thecontent is primarily developed for Mid-Atlantic Corporate members,it is available to other credit unions, business partners and thegeneral public.
