The $748 million, 54,500-member Texas Trust Credit Union in Mansfield, Texas, is now offering a mobile remote check deposit service.
The mobile RDC works on Apple or Android devices and the 54,500-member credit union is allowing members to deposit up to five checks or up to $10,000 per day with the first $2,500 immediately available after the member receives a deposit acceptance response on the device.
The service is free to mobile banking users and members who use the Texas Trust Free & Flexible or Traditions checking accounts or Mega Money Market account, the credit union said.
“Mobile deposit is about convenience. It gives the member the ability to deposit checks without having to visit a branch or go to an ATM,” said Jim Minge, president/CEO.
The RDC technology is from Cachet Financial Solutions while Access SoftTek provided the mobile banking platform, Texas Trust said.
