The 77,600 members of the $1 billion Advancial Federal Credit Union in Dallas are now being offered an Android app.
The new software joins the Texas credit union's iPhone and iPad apps and includes balances, transfers, bill pay and remote checking deposits.
Staff programmers worked with WebDev Designs from Fort Worth, Texas, to produce the new app, the credit union said, and it has been downloaded about 900 times since it was launched on Feb. 18.

"Our Android users have been patiently awaiting the release of the new app," said Paul Graff, assistant vice president of development. "The feedback we've received from our members was worth the wait."
Advancial, which marked its 75th anniversary last year, offers an additional option to mobile bankers: Entering Advancial.mobi into a Web browser also provides access.
