Keystone Federal Credit Union, West Chester, Pa., announced that its President/CEO Christine Woods has been elected to the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association board of directors. Woods will serve a three-year term and represent credit unions in the total assets greater than $30 million up to $100 million dollars category. Woods holds a certification from CUNA Management School and has also earned the certified credit union executive and credit union compliance expert designations. She holds a bachelor's degree from Immaculata University and an associate's degree from Reading Area Community College. She serves as board secretary of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation, board secretary of the Delaware Valley Chapter of Credit Union Executives and Schuylkill Valley Chapter of Credit Unions President. Further, she serves on the PCUA awards and regulatory review committees. Woods traveled to Haiti in October 2010 and serves on the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation's Haitian task force.
Southbridge Credit Union, Southbridge, Mass appointed Denise Cournoyer as its chairman of the board. Previously, Cournoyer served as first vice chairman on Southbridge credit union's board of directors. She replaced Ronald Ledoux's position as chairman after his term expired. Cournoyer has been a board member for several years and comes from a family that has been committed and involved in the credit union movement. Cournoyer's father, John Paul Roy, and aunt, Marie Beals, were among the original founders of Holy Rosary Credit Union in New Hampshire in 1962. While organizing Holy Rosary Credit Union, Beals was elected secretary.

Suffolk Federal Credit Union, Medford, N.Y., welcomed Gail DiGiacomo as its assistant branch manager in Medford. She is responsible for supporting the branch manager in operations, staff supervision and member relations. She is instrumental in providing Suffolk Federal CU financial solutions, services and products to members such as account management, consumer loans and online banking assistance. DiGiacomo brings 28 years of banking and customer service experience to Suffolk Federal CU. She has held previous positions, including head teller and operations manager at Citibank and EAB.

Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, has named Peter Farrow, an information systems industry veteran, its chief information officer. Farrow has more than 20 years of experience in the information systems field with experience in cost effective technology solutions and strategy. With a master's of science in telecommunications management and an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, Farrow's educational background gave him a competitive edge for the role. After beginning as a telecommunications coordinator for Tandem Computers Inc. in Cupertino, Calif., he rose through the industry ranks and most recently served as senior vice president and chief information officer for Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union in San Antonio. Farrow joins the team after more than eight years at Randolph Brooks.
Numerica Credit Union, Spokane Valley, Wash., has promoted Lynn Ciani to vice president of general counsel. Ciani possesses 30 years of experience in the financial industry and the last nine months have been spent with Numerica. Previously, she was general counsel at Western United Life Assurance Company in Spokane. Ciani earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with cum laude honors from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also earned her juris doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Ciani is a member of both the Washington State and California bars.
OnPoint Community Credit Union, Portland, Ore., has named Stephen Wymer as Central Oregon area manager. OnPoint opened three branches in Deschutes County in 2010 to serve members who live and vacation in the area and to offer financial services to new members. Wymer will be responsible for the management of all three Deschutes County branches. Wymer has over 15 years of financial services experience and was most recently the director of member business lending and member business services at Northwest Community Credit Union. He holds a B.S. in business and economics from Oregon State University and is a graduate of Northwest Credit Union Association Hyperion Business Lending and Pacific Coast Banking School.
Rio Grande Credit Union, Albuquerque, N. M., recently promoted Lily Currin to vice president of human resources and Dohnia Dorman to vice president of marketing. Currin joined the credit union as HR specialist in 2009. Currin recently attained her master of public administration with a concentration in human resources from the University of New Mexico. She holds a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in human resources from Stetson University. Dorman joined RGCU as assistant vice president of marketing in 2011. She holds an MBA with a marketing concentration and an undergraduate double major in journalism/mass communication and Spanish from the University of New Mexico.
San Diego County Credit Union, San Diego, Calif., announced that Lori Beador has been named senior vice president, controller. Beador will have responsibility for financial data and operations, including audit reporting, accounting, budgetary analysis and monitoring controls and procedures. Beador, a certified public accountant, previously served at Yakima, Wash.-based Solarity Credit Union as chief financial officer/vice president of finance. She also served in management positions in Washington with Midstate Co-Op and the Washington State Auditor's Office. She has earned bachelor degrees in accounting and actuarial science from Central Washington University and an MBA from Washington State University.
University Federal Credit Union, Austin, Texas, has named Laura Rea senior manager of assurance services. Most recently, Rea was senior auditor for UFCU. She holds a BBA in accounting from Southwestern University and is a certified internal auditor. Rea has over 16 years experience in the audit field.

Charlotte Metro Credit Union, Charlotte, N.C., announced that its marketing specialist, Randall Beckwith, has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Beckwith will report to CEO Bob Bruns. Beckwith has spent his career in public relations, strategic marketing communications and graphic design. He's worked in the public transit, financial and nonprofit sectors and has lived in Minneapolis, Denver, Colo., Tampa Bay, Fla., and points in between before coming to Charlotte to join CMCU.
Commonwealth Credit Union, Frankfort, Ky., has named David Young executive vice president. Young brings nearly 36 years of financial experience to his position. Prior to the promotion, he served as vice president of operations. His scope of responsibility has included oversight of the credit union's branch operations, and he has been instrumental in expanding Commonwealth branch locations in the central Kentucky area. Since joining Commonwealth in 2006, Young has overseen the construction, remodeling or acquisition of five facilities. In addition to his branch operations experience, he has a diverse background in accounting, finance, sales, information technology, facilities and security. Prior to his service with Commonwealth, Young was the vice president of IT and facilities for Park Community Federal Credit Union where he served for 20 years. He is a graduate of Morehead State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and economics. he is a certified credit union executive, a Novell certified network administrator and has served on a number of volunteer committees with the Kentucky Credit Union League.

Share One Inc., Memphis Tenn., announced that Teri Van Frank has been promoted to president/CEO and chairman of the Share One board of directors. Van Frank previously held the role of senior vice president/chief operating officer, overseeing a major portion of the technology company's various customer interfacing departments. She replaces Daryl Tanner as president/CEO. Tanner retired after 15 years in that position. Tanner will remain involved with the company in a consulting role to senior staff members. Van Frank has held numerous positions with Share One during her 30-year tenure. She began in 1982 as an administrative assistant, moved to manager of customer service, then vice president of customer and internet services, and then senior vice president/COO before her promotion to president/CEO. Van Frank is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a bachelor of arts in business administration.
