121 Financial Credit Union, Orange Park, Fla., has relocated an existing branch to self-standing facilities at 6072 Youngerman Circle. The new location, which is one mile south of its old commercial strip center location at 6000-1 Lake Gray Boulevard, offers full banking services, including three drive-through lanes, a 24-hour drive-up ATM and safe deposit boxes. The new facility has nearly 3,800 square feet, which is 500 square feet larger than the older location. Renovations to the building were done by Metro Property Services.
Astera Credit Union, Lansing, Mich., has moved to a new location in Ionia. Astera Credit Union opened a branch inside the Walmart SuperCenter located at 3062 S. State Road. This location allows Astera to expand its services to members with a full-service 24 hour ATM and expanded hours. This is Astera's second in-store branch.
CitizensFirst Credit Union, Oshkosh, Wis., announced the opening of its newest branch in Oshkosh with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The occasion marked the continuing role of CitizensFirst in the economic growth of Oshkosh and was attended by 85 civic leaders, branch neighbors, and credit union members and employees. The Witzel Avenue branch replaces the Sawyer Street location which also served as CitizensFirst corporate offices. The Witzel Avenue branch is the latest in a system-wide renewal and expansion of CitizensFirst facilities, and was preceded earlier this year by the East Johnson Avenue branch in Fond du Lac. All branches showcase the CitizensFirst brand, which feature teller pods, large screen technology to view credit reports and applications, member resource centers, and self-service kiosks.

Pen Air Federal Credit Union, Foley, Ala., celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch located in Foley. City officials, members of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, and the Pen Air FCU executive team were there for the official ribbon cutting of the branch. The Foley branch is the 19th location for the $1.2 billion credit union. It is its third location in Alabama/
Rocky Mountain Credit Union, Belgrade, Mo., recently purchased a 2,000-sq-foot- site on West Madison. Belgrade is one of the fasted growing communities in the state for people in the 25 to 40-year-old age group, according to the credit union. The new and fourth branch, scheduled to open sometime early this year, will offer the services of the other branches including a full spectrum of savings, checking accounts, investment services and loans.
SECU Credit Union, Linthicum, Md., announced the opening of its new UMB branch, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. University officials, state and city representatives, community leaders, and members of SECU's board of directors and management team were in attendance. The new UMB branch offers an open hours, full-service lobby. including three modern teller stations, touch screen banking kiosks and check writing stations. There is also a 24 hour self-service lobby that includes three full-service imaging ATMs, allowing members to deposit cash or checks without envelopes, another touch-screen online banking kiosk, a check writing station and plasma screens sharing valuable and timely information. SECU currently has 21 branches and 104 ATM locations throughout Maryland.
Spokane Teachers Credit Union, Spokane, Wash., announced the opening of its Moran Prairie Branch in Spokane. It is STCU's 16th branch in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. During construction, the 4,096-square-foot structure was damaged by a fire that investigators termed suspicious. Despite the fire, Walker Construction completed construction on schedule for the opening. The credit union also recently purchased 2.5 acres south of Interstate 90 at the Argonne interchange. CEO Tom Johnson announced to staff that tentative plans call for building an STCU Financial Center and a full-service branch at the site. The branch was designed by Nystrom+Olson Architecture to meet the requirements for eventual certification as a LEED Gold building for environmental stewardship. Among its many green features are solar panels, employee showers (to encourage alternative commute options) and construction materials that were mostly mined or produced within 500 miles of Spokane.
Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, Tampa, Fla., announced the grand opening of its 52nd branch at 2135 NW 11th Drive in Chiefland, Florida. The grand opening featured live music, barbecue food and a fall-inspired photo booth. Attendees who brought 10 non-perishable food items were entered the Suncoast Schools FCU money machine for 90-seconds and grab for cash. Suncoast School FCU now has a total of 52 branches throughout 15 counties in the state of Florida.
VyStar Credit Union, St. Johns, Fla., announced the official opening of the Credit Union's new 210 Branch location at 1955 CR 210 West in St. Johns. VyStar Officials cut the ribbon launching the Grand Opening Celebration of the new Branch, in a special ceremony on Tuesday, November 20th. The new branch is a full-service VyStar branch with five teller stations, five member service offices, one online banking station, one outside walk-up and one drive-up ATM, three drive-thru lanes and safe deposit boxes. This is VyStar's 34th overall branch. Brian Corson will serve as branch vice president of the 210 branch. Corson has been with VyStar for seven years and most recently held the position of member relationship specialist supervisor at VyStar's Julington Creek branch in Jacksonville.
Workers' Credit Union, Helmsford, Mass., recently celebrated the grand opening of its 15th branch. Michael Gaudette has been named assistant vice president and branch manager for the new location. Workers' Credit Union, founded in 1914, is headquartered in Fitchburg, Mass. The credit union serves over 69,000 members from 15 offices.
