The CUNA Technology Council in Madison, Wis., is now offering anew white paper on the balance between deploying software in-houseor offsite and using cloud and virtualization tools.

“In House or As A Service” notes that the trend is towardoff-site hosting and provides reasons why. The paper also stressesthe need to ask service providers and partners the right questionsand to stay on top of tech challenges and potential off-siteproblems.

Regardless of channel, the ultimate goal remains the same, thecouncil noted: To serve members needs and demands while protectingdata privacy and personal financial information.
