VolCorp is now offering its 266 member credit unions the mobile app from CU Mobile Apps of Franklin, Tenn.
The Nashville, Tenn.-based corporate cited functionality and price in its decision.
“We're very price-sensitive on behalf of our credit unions. We know how difficult things are right now for most credit unions across the country. It was of particular importance to us that CU Mobile Apps provided a robust and affordable mobile app for our members,” said Sandy Swofford, VolCorp's senior vice president of marketing and business development.
CU Mobile Apps works on Android and iPhone devices allows subscribers to easily upload images, choose colors, customize their display and change content requires no contract and can easily integrate new technologies as they become available, said Rick Hargis, owner/partner of the app's owner, Member Service Solutions LLC of Franklin, Tenn.
The app also includes the ability to quickly create and send alert notifications, special offers, and loan or account rate information to members' smartphones, Member Service Solutions said. QR capability also is included.
Member Service Solutions said it now has about 50 credit union clients using the app it launched last year.
