Zia Credit Union has found a new leader.

Former CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union Vice President ofLending David Woodruff has been named president/CEO of the $130million Los Alamos, N.M., credit union.

Woodruff holds a bachelor's degree in international relationsfrom Brigham Young University and is a graduate of the CUES CEOInstitute.

During his tenure at the $305 million CommonWealth One inAlexandria, Va., Woodruff was credited with helping significantlyincrease the organization's real estate portfolio, his new employersaid.

He also served as the manager of lending operations at the $1.2billion Numerica Credit Union in Spokane, Wash., Zia CU said in its announcement.
