Tom Kane is returning to the $443 million Fort Campbell FCU inClarksville, Tenn., as its president/CEO, a job he held from2005-2007, the credit union said.

Maria McKee, vice president of operations, had been serving asinterim CEO since former President/CEO Stewart Ramsey left the nine-branch, 47,000-member credit unionin mid-July.

Kane, who attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has beena credit union CEO/COO for more than 16 years and involved withcredit unions for more than a quarter-century, the credit unionsaid.

“I couldn't be more excited and appreciative for thisopportunity. We are a strong and vibrant credit union poised forgreat growth and it is an honor to back at the helm of thisoutstanding organization,” Kane said.

Kane had been chief operating officer at USA Federal CreditUnion in San Diego and also has been CEO at Warren FCU in Cheyenne,Wyo., IBEW Plus FCU in Las Vegas and ISU Community CU in Ames,Iowa.
