First Financial Federal Credit Union,
Wall, N.J., announced that Kathleen Clark has been promoted to manager of the Toms River branch. Clark was formerly assistant branch manager at First Financial's Howell and Freehold branches. She began her employment with First Financial in October 2010 and since March 2011 has been assistant manager at the Toms River branch.

She brings over 30 years of banking and management experience to First Financial Federal Credit Union. Prior to her employment at First Financial, she had experience as a teller, head teller, teller trainer, operations manager, auditor, assistant manager and branch manager between First Fidelity, CoreStates, First State, SI Bank & Trust, Independent Community Bank and Sovereign Bank. Clark will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities at First Financial's Toms River branch, as well as business development, attending community events, increasing the loan and deposit base and the overall success of the branch. She received a business degree with honors, and majored in accounting at Harcourt Learning Direct.

RTN Federal Credit Union, Waltham, Mass. announced the appointment of Charles Anastasia as director emeritus. This award is in recognition of more than 50 years of service on behalf of the credit union. He is a founding credit union member and original board member, and served as a board officer and vice chairman for many years. "Mr. Anastasia relished his role as a volunteer board member, whose ample contributions respected the best traditions embodied in the credit union movement," said Arthur R. Osborn Jr., chairman at RTN. "We are grateful and proud to have counted upon him for his wisdom and dedication over the decades. As Mr. Anastasia leaves active membership from the board, we expect he will continue to find accomplishment and satisfaction in all endeavors he decides to pursue."

Webster First Federal Credit Union, Winthrop, Mass., announced that Thomas Hankard has joined Winthrop Federal, a division of Webster First Federal Credit Union, as branch manager. Hankard brings more than nine years of experience in the financial services industry to the position, most recently as a branch manager and a business development specialist and loan officer at a credit union and mutual savings bank, respectively. A graduate of Merrimack College, Hankard also graduated from Malden Catholic High School where he currently serves as secretary of the school's alumni association.

Security Service Federal Credit Union,
Riverton, Utah, announced that its Security Service Investment Group has hired Elliott Gee as a senior financial consultant. In his new position, Gee will be responsible for assisting members in the Utah area with wealth management, financial planning, risk management, asset allocation, retirement planning, and portfolio management. Prior to joining SSFCU, Gee worked in investment services at Merrill Lynch. He brings with him more than seven years of experience in financial consulting and is a registered securities representative and licensed insurance agent. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Utah.

Spokane Teachers Credit Union, Spokane, Wash., announced the promotions of four employees. Angila Schafer has been promoted to manager of sales and processing in the STCU lending center. Schafer currently attends Whitworth University. She came to work at STCU in 2008 as a loan officer and most recently was an assistant manager in the lending center. Jessica Golladay was promoted from assistant manager to manager of consumer underwriting and indirect dealer/merchant lending. Golladay currently attends Eastern Washington University, where she is working toward a bachelor's degree in business. She came to work for STCU in 2010 as lending center assistant manager. Lance Kissler was promoted to senior community development officer in the marketing department. Kissler started work at STCU in 2010, as new media and marketing officer. He has bachelor and master's degrees from Eastern Washington University. Keith Appleton was promoted to community development officer in the marketing department. A University of Idaho graduate, he started work at STCU as a teller in 2009 and most recently was education outreach coordinator in the marketing department.

University Federal Credit Union, Austin, Texas, has named Robin Orton Teravista Financial Center manager. Most recently, Orton was assistant financial center manager of UFCU's Whitestone location. Orton, who has been employed with UFCU for two years, has 16 years financial and retail management experience.

Catholic Federal Credit Union
, Saginaw, Mich., has appointed David Beyerlein to its board of directors. Beyerlein is a CPA and principal at Yeo & Yeo in Saginaw, where he specializes in tax planning and preparation, business consulting services, estate retirement and financial planning. He has over 35 years of taxation experience. He holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Central Michigan University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Innovations FCU
, Panama City, Fla., announced that Jeremy Hinton has recently joined the credit union as chief financial officer. Prior to joining the Innovations,. Hinton was the controller for CORE Credit Union in Statesboro, Ga. He earned his master's degree in business administration from Georgia Southern University and a bachelor's degree in business management from Kennesaw State University. Hinton is a CPA and has been active in the credit union industry for several years, serving as a board member for the Coastal Empire Credit Union Chapter, as a member of Georgia Corporate FCU's focus group, and as a member of Southwest Corporate's Advisory Council.
