The 130 credit unions using FedComp, Inc.'s VirtualCU Internet banking product are set to roll onto the Boise, Idaho-based Database Management Services, Inc.'s online and mobile banking platform HomeCU as a result of an agreement between the two companies, DMS announced.
DMS said this migration marks the dissolving of the VirtualCU product, launched by the Fairfax, Va.-based core data processing provider, which currently serves more than 850 credit unions, in 2001. More than 350 credit unions already utilize HomeCU.
“We strive to provide the best possible solutions for our credit unions,” said Robert Duff, president/CEO for FedComp. “We already have a great relationship with DMS, our credit unions love them, and migrating all our credit unions to the HomeCU product is a strategic decision that allows us to focus our resources on providing the best product offering for our clients and their members.”
Joe Pearson, president for DMS, said, “FedComp is an open, customer-centric company. They understand the complexities of providing 24/7 home banking and are constantly looking for ways to improve their product offerings through innovation and partnering in order to ultimately meet the changing needs of their clients' members.”
