Educational Community Credit Union, Kalamazoo, Mich., announced the promotion of Tina Mason as the new marketing manager. Mason's primary responsibilities will be to plan, direct and coordinate the credit union's marketing efforts, including promotions, advertising and social media. She will also oversee the daily operations of the marketing department and its staff. Mason has worked at ECCU for 12 years and most recently served as marketing supervisor. Her previous financial industry experience includes serving as marketing manager at Omni Family Credit Union and as an account manager at Equifax Credit Information Services. Mason has a bachelor's degree in advertising from Michigan State University. 

MSU Federal Credit Union, East Lansing, Mich., has announced the promotion of Samantha Amburgey to vice president of ecommerce and eservices and the hiring of Clint Summers as vice president of information technology. Amburgey has been with MSUFCU since July 2004, most recently holding the position of eservices manager. She received a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Summers has worked at MSUFCU since December 2011 and was previously the vice president of technology at Intermountain Community Bancorp. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems and accounting from Idaho State University.

Christian Community Credit Union, San Dimas, Calif., announced that James D. Carrington has retired after serving 20 years on Christian Community's supervisory committee. He also served on other committees including the missions, ministry loan and asset-liability committees. Carrington is the pastor-founder of Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda, Calif., where he has served for 48 years.
