Educational Community Credit Union, Kalamazoo, Mich., announced the promotion of Tina Mason as the new marketing manager. Mason's primary responsibilities will be to plan, direct and coordinate the credit union's marketing efforts, including promotions, advertising and social media. She will also oversee the daily operations of the marketing department and its staff. Mason has worked at ECCU for 12 years and most recently served as marketing supervisor. Her previous financial industry experience includes serving as marketing manager at Omni Family Credit Union and as an account manager at Equifax Credit Information Services. Mason has a bachelor's degree in advertising from Michigan State University.
MSU Federal Credit Union, East Lansing, Mich., has announced the promotion of Samantha Amburgey to vice president of ecommerce and eservices and the hiring of Clint Summers as vice president of information technology. Amburgey has been with MSUFCU since July 2004, most recently holding the position of eservices manager. She received a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Summers has worked at MSUFCU since December 2011 and was previously the vice president of technology at Intermountain Community Bancorp. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems and accounting from Idaho State University.

Christian Community Credit Union, San Dimas, Calif., announced that James D. Carrington has retired after serving 20 years on Christian Community's supervisory committee. He also served on other committees including the missions, ministry loan and asset-liability committees. Carrington is the pastor-founder of Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda, Calif., where he has served for 48 years.

Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., promoted Michelle Thor to vice president of outreach and social responsibility following the retirement of 38year veteran credit union executive Laurie Kusch. Thor leads Columbia's corporate outreach to generate new business. Thor also administers the credit union's social responsibility initiatives to advance its sustainable values, community involvement/charitable giving and financial education to the community. With 10 years of credit union experience, Thor most recently served as Columbia's vice president of business development. Prior positions include serving as marketing manager and communications specialist for the credit union. Ent Federal Credit Union, Colorado Springs, Colo., announced the hiring of Todd Salzman for their newly created position of military relationship manager. Salzman is a 30 year Air Force veteran, who recently retired at the rank of command chief master sergeant. In his new role, Salzman will work closely with Ent's military base service centers at Peterson, Buckley and Schriever Air Force bases to extend the credit union's relationship with military members. Salzman has a master's degree in human resource development, training and management from Webster University, a bachelor's degree in business administration from Colorado State University and was a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy's Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy.
FAA Credit Union, Oklahoma City, recently added Diane Blake to its senior management team. As the vice president of lending, Blake will oversee the mortgage lending department. Blake will lead efforts to grow the real estate portfolio for the credit union as well as other lending areas. Before she joined FAA Credit Union, Blake was most recently with Meritrust Credit Union and Robins Federal Credit Union.

ESL Federal Credit Union, Rochester, N.Y., recently appointed Celeste Kier as vice president of customer experience. The appointment was made in conjunction with the credit union's newly created customer experience department, which will be overseen by Kier. In her new position, Kier will lead ESL's efforts to provide satisfactory customer experience within its operations. Employed with ESL since 1988, Kier has held the positions of member experience manager, product manager and, most recently, vice president/marketing director, where she directed ESL's advertising, marketing, public relations and member experience initiatives. Kier holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Rochester.
GFA Federal Credit Union, Gardner, Mass., announced that Rachel O'Leary has joined as vice president of business development. O'Leary is joining GFA from Monadnock Community Bank. O'Leary joins the GFA team with more than 20 years of banking experience. Her experience includes underwriting commercial loans, analyzing financial statements and commercial loan portfolio review. She will work closely with local businesses and organizations to customize financial solutions for their needs and plan for their future. O'Leary is a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers Association New England School of Financial Studies.
TEG Federal Credit Union, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., announced that it has hired John D. Reidy to serve as a senior mortgage officer. Reidy will be responsible for procuring new residential mortgage transactions for the credit union. Prior to joining TEG, Reidy served as a home mortgage consultant at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Fishkill, N.Y., for eight years. He also brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing management positions at companies such as Pepsico Beverages and Foods, Tropicana, Merkert Enterprises and Boerner Company. Reidy holds a bachelor's degree in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College. He is affiliated with the Mid-Hudson Mortgage Bankers Association, Dutchess County Association of Realtors, and Fuel.
