The $1.7 billion MIDFLORIDA Credit Union plans to convert toFiserv Inc.'s flagship Acumen account processing platform, thecompany and credit union said.

The 161,000-member Lakeland, Fla., credit union currently runson a Fiserv CUBE core processing platform, according to theTechnology Survey from Callahan & Associates.

The 33-branch MIDFLORIDA already uses Fiserv enterprise contentmanagement, accounting and credit card processing solutions andwill be adding consumer and commercial debit processing, thecompany and credit union said.

“We value the flexibility and scalability provided by Acumen tosupport our membership growth, and we can depend upon the system todeliver consistent and readily available service for our members,”said Steve Moseley, MIDFLORIDA's executive vice president and chieffinancial officer.

More than 30 creditunions have now committed to the Acumen platform, which wasrolled out to the U.S. market in 2009 after it was launched in Canada under the iSpectrumname.
