The $185 million Firefighters Community Credit Union inCleveland is one of many across the country participating inMiracle Jeans Day on Wednesday. More than 40 of the 50 or soemployees at the 25,000-member credit union have paid $5 for theright to go casual that day at work, and the staff so far as raised$310 for the effort to help local Children's Miracle NetworkHospitals.

“Who doesn't love a worthy excuse to wear jeans to work?” saidFFCCU Office Coordinator Amy Pritt. “This charity is dear to ourteammates' hearts because the Network has cared for many of theirown children. Teammates donate out of their own pockets to wearjeans. This isn't something the credit union pays for. This isdefinitely on a personal level.”
