The day after she spoke to the nation at the Republican National Convention, Ann Romney was at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Wednesday morning to help with the ribbon cutting for a new playground.

A similar “leave-behind” project at a Charlotte, N.C., hospital will take place next week at the Democratic National Convention, continuing a national credit union tradition of community service projects in nominating convention cities.
