Robert Neill, vice chairman of the Christian Community Credit Union board of directors, passed away on Aug. 4 after a long battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Sue, three daughters and their husbands, seven grandchildren and another grandchild due in September. He was 66 years old.
For over 16 years, Bob served as a member of the credit union's board of directors. He was a member of the executive committee and also served as the board chair.
"Bob's amazing life and ministry, his ready smile and encouragement–and courage–will be a constant reminder to all of us that this is what faithfulness and fruitfulness look like. What a blessing to have been a friend and colleague of Bob. We will continue to pray faithfully for Sue and the Neill family," said John Pearson, chairman of Christian Community Credit Union.
