Two more credit unions have signed on as users of the OASys core processing platform from CUtopia, according to the division of Worldwide Interactive Services LLC in Orlando, Fla.

They are the $2.7 million, 411-member Kokomo Post Office Credit Union in Kokomo, Ind., and the $3.4 million, 701-member Romeoville Community Credit Union in Romeoville, Ill., the company said.

Both credit unions had been using the CUServ platform from Harland Financial Solutions, CUtopia said.

CUtopia was launched in 2010 about two years after Worldwide Interactive Services bought the former CUMAS core processing operation and began enhancing it with third-party document, lending, e-statement, ATM and other solutions.

The company said it now has 32 customers live on the cloud-based, hosted OASys system and another eight that have signed in the past several weeks, including credit unions in Texas, California, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota.

"The cost, portability and feature functionality of the OASys product were the deciding factors in our choice. In a one-man credit union like ours, OASys will take the pressure off, and make me more productive because I will be able to process loans faster and solve member service issues more quickly," said Charlie Mills, president of Kokomo Post Office CU.

John Huff, board chairman for Romeoville Community CU, said his credit union already had been using Worldwide Interactive Services products when it made the move.

"OASys allows us to further streamline both our front and back-office operations with one integrated system," he said.
