Jack Henry & Associates said its Symitar division won 28 new credit union core processing relationships in its 2012 fiscal year that ended June 30.

The Monett, Mo., company said 24 of those credit unions chose the flagship Episys platform and half of them chose to run it through a service bureau. Three of the four credit unions that chose the Cruise platform for smaller credit unions also chose to outsource the deployment, the company said.

Three of the new clients are billion-dollar credit unions and San Diego-based Symitar now serves more than 35% of that market, the company said.
