Rainbow Federal Credit Union, Lewiston, Maine, said it has hired Lizzy Snyder as the director of marketing. Snyder graduated from Central Maine Community College in May 2011 with her associate degree in business administration and management with a concentration in marketing.

DATCU Credit Union, Denton, Texas, held a celebration to honor Doris Finch and her 30 years of service to DATCU and the community. DATCU members, family and friends were encouraged to drop by the Lewisville branch to enjoy refreshments and congratulate Finch on her many years of loyalty and service. Finch has held numerous positions at DATCU and currently serves as lead teller at DATCU's Lewisville branch.

OnPoint Community Credit Union, Portland, Ore., announced that Gina Haefner has been named manager of the Clackamas branch. As branch manager, she will be responsible for all daily branch operations, providing leadership to branch staff and developing new business relationships. Haefner has more than 20 years of financial services experience and has worked at OnPoint the past five years as assistant branch manager of the 205 Place branch.

Sound Credit Union, Tacoma, Wash., announced that Donald L. Clark Jr. has been named executive vice president. Clark has direct responsibility for finance, risk management, information systems, and investment and retirement services. Clark has over 17 years of experience in strategic planning, financial reporting, asset-liability management, business lending, risk management and CUSO development. He is a certified public accountant and previously served as chief financial officer for several credit unions, including Sound. He is returning to Sound Credit Union after 14 years. He received his bachelor of science in accounting from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University.

MIDWEST

Honor Credit Union, St. Joseph, Mich., recently announced the promotion of James Versaw and Jessica Kehrer. The credit union also named Chris Jacobs and Kent Figy as new hires. Versaw was promoted to education coordinator. He will be responsible for all aspects of employee training, including the coordination of Honor's employee education program. He has a bachelor of science and master's degree in secondary education from Western Michigan University. Kehrer and Jacobs were granted regional manager positions at Honor. They will oversee member service, provide leadership to branch managers and guide their involvement in community events. Kehrer was promoted to the position and will manage branches in Benton Harbor, Berrien Springs, Dowagiac, Niles, Stevensville and St. Joseph. She joined Honor Credit Union in 2010 with more than eight year of experience in the financial services industry as branch manager in Dowagiac. Kehrer received her bachelor of science degree in business administration from Central Michigan University. Jacobs will oversee the Coloma, South Haven, Plainwell, Paw Paw, Kalamazoo and Coldwater locations. He joined the Honor Credit Union team with nine years of credit union operations experience. Jacobs has a master's degree in business administration from Spring Arbor University. Figy is  the new vice president of member service. In this role, Figy will be responsible for overseeing the administration and development of branch offices and member service. He will also develop and implement branch marketing programs. Figy comes to Honor Credit Union with more than 14 years in the financial services industry and a bachelor of science in accounting from Ohio State University.

Prospera Credit Union, Appleton, Wis., announced that Amy Schindler is the new chief financial officer. Schindler is replacing previous CFO, Sheila Schinke, who was promoted to chief executive officer last April. Schindler worked with Prospera for nearly 13 years previously and is now returning to take on the CFO role. She earned her bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and in accounting from Lakeland College. In 2007, she earned her CPA designation.

SOUTH

Atlanta Postal Credit Union, Atlanta, recently announced Teresa Stonecypher as branch manager of APCU's human services ECU Branch. Stonecypher has worked at Atlanta Postal for more than 20 years and most recently served as a mortgage loan officer. Stonecypher has nearly 35 years of credit union experience.

VENDORS 

CU Holding Co. LLC, Lenexa, Kan., announced that Larry Hayes has joined the CUSO as president/CEO. CU Holding investments in six CUSOs. Hayes' industry background includes 26 years of executive credit union experience in marketing and business development. Most recently, Hayes served as vice president of marketing and business development at First Service Credit Union, Houston. He also was vice president of marketing at HFS Federal Credit Union, Hilo, Hawaii, and worked at other credit unions in Hawaii and California. Hayes received his BA from Ferrum College, Ferrum, Va. He also earned post graduate credits toward an MBA at George Washington University's Graduate School of Government and Business Administration.

The Members Group, Des Moines, Iowa, announced the addition of Michael Cebrick and Sam Sassen to the payment solutions company's staff. Cebrick joins TMG as director of new client partnerships. His past experience includes eight years at Alliance Financial Services where he consulted with credit unions and community banks on their credit card portfolios. Prior to his work at Alliance Financial Services, Cebrick worked at MBNA, selling co-branded programs. Sassen joins TMG as director of client relations. Sassen has more than 20 years of financial processing experience, having held a variety of relationship management positions with his previous employer, First Data. Sassen has also worked as a customer service executive with Meta Payments Systems.

Orth, Chakler, Murnane & Co., Miami, announced the promotion of Jack D. Kenney Jr. to partner. Kenney has been with the firm for 15 years. He is a graduate of Florida International University. His primary responsibilities include the planning, coordination and supervision of opinion audits and HUD audits for credit unions.
