The site will also feature NEFCU's products and services targeted at small businesses.
The credit union said it will host a blog that will provide educational information on all aspects of running a business including finances, law, marketing and human resources.
In addition, NEFCU has created a LinkedIn group titled the Long Island Small Business Hub so that small business owners can network online to share best practices and openly discuss issues and concerns that are important to the local business community.
“Knowing where to turn to find the right information can be one of the biggest struggles a small business owner faces.” said Valerie Garguilo, vice president of marketing and community relations at NEFCU. “It is our hope that the site will act as a quality resource for the business community and provide business owners with the information they need to help their business succeed.”
