Two credit unions, one in Wyoming and the other in Idaho, havejoined shared branching through the Credit Union Service Network,an affiliate of CO-OP Shared Branching headquartered inColorado.

The two are the Pine Tree Community Credit Union, headquarteredin Grangeville, Idaho and the WESC Federal Credit Union,headquartered in Casper, Wyo.

Pine Tree Community CU CEO Dan Goehring explained that, “Withthe addition of shared branching, Credit Union members have thesame benefits that the large multistate mega banks offer, whileenjoying all the other benefits of credit union membership.”

Pine Tree Chairman Jerry Zumalt said, “The convenience of sharedbranching is a great benefit to our members and [they] get excitedwhen they find out there is a shared branching location they canuse to access their accounts.”
