The $49 billion Navy Federal Credit Union is now offering its 4 million members upgraded iPhone and Android mobile banking apps.
The new apps include a password-only “Remember Me” feature. Mobile remote deposit capture also is included.
“Our members need 24-7 access,” said Julie Griffin, Navy Federal vice president, eServices. “On the phone, online and now, from newly improved mobile apps right in the palm of their hand. We're happy to have also been able to bring international capability to both apps.”
Member favorites from the previous version remain, the credit union said, including branch locators, loan calculators and currency converters.
The new apps were developed by CapTech Consulting using look and feel and design functionality generated in-house at Vienna, Va.-based Navy Federal, the credit union said.
