Building on the momentum from last year's turnout, North Jersey Federal Credit Union will once again host the Passaic County Small Business Growth Summit.

The forum will take place Sept. 12 at the $220 million credit union's office in Totowa, N.J. North Jersey Federal said it will conduct speed networking activities between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., the hours of the summit.

Designed to help small businesses develop strategic partnerships to aid with growth and overcome obstacles, the summit aims to provide information, resources and networking opportunities, according to organizers. Products and services will also be available to help small businesses succeed.

New Jersey Sen. Nellie Pou (D-Paterson) is tentatively scheduled to be a guest speaker.

Admission and lunch are free for all business owners. However, they must register.

Exhibit space is available for $150 by Aug. 1 and $200 after that date. Business exhibitors who bring 10 guests, will be eligible for a $100 rebate.

According to North Jersey Federal, more than 80 small business owners attended last year's summit
