The $2.5 billion, 124,000-member Tower Federal Credit Union hasadded new mobile apps to its electronic banking lineup.

Included are apps for iPhones, iPads and Android phones and theyare available at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, theLaurel, Md., credit union said.

The new apps join the mobile Web functionality the credit unionlaunchedlast year and text banking. Features include balances,transfers, transaction histories, canceled check viewing and branchand ATM locators.

“Our members are tech-savvy and need us to stay on top oftechnologies that save them time and offerconvenience,” says Cyndy Scott, the credit union's senior vicepresident of marketing.

She said more than 10,000 members have downloaded the apps sincethey were first made available in March. Intuit Financial Servicesfrom Calabasas, Calif., is the credit union's mobile and onlinebanking technology provider.
