Christian Community Credit Union has recently celebrated JohnWalling's 40 years of service, including 28 at the helm.

Under his leadership, the San Dimas, Calif.-based credit unionhas grown from $7 million in assets and 5,700 members with a singlebranch, to more than $532 million in assets and two branches, andserving more than 29,500 churches, ministries and their members inmore than 100 countries.

“Few CEOs today have the creativity, the passion, and theenergy to reach the 20-year mark in a single organization. Yet JohnWalling has continued to reinvent himself as president and CEO overa remarkable 40-year career at ChristianCommunity Credit Union,” John Pearson, board chairman, saidduring the celebration at the credit union's annual meeting.

Walling's career began in 1972 as an assistant manager. Withinsix years he was named general manager and in 1984 was appointedpresident/CEO. He currently serves as a board member of PSCU and isalso the credit union's board treasurer.
