Workers' Credit Union, Fitchburg, Mass., said that William C. Mullin has joined the credit union as senior vice president of business banking and commercial lending. Mullin will direct the expansion of the credit union's real estate and commercial and industrial lending. Mullin was previously a principal at RMPI Consulting LLC, a Boston-based risk management and consulting firm to financial institutions. Prior to joining RMPI, he was a partner and the chief operating officer for Thorndike Development Corp., a real estate development company. Earlier in his career, Mullin also served as a senior vice president of the former Fleet Financial Group, where he focused on real estate and other commercial lending in the state. Mullin received a bachelor's degree from Harvard College and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., announced two senior level promotions to its management team. William D. Fulk will serve as executive vice president/chief operating officer, and Lindsey Salvestrin will serve as senior vice president/service delivery-project management. Fulk's responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day credit union operations; managing the credit union's loan portfolio; and monitoring the credit union's performance relative to compliance, internal controls and safety and soundness. Salvestrin's duties include coordinating corporate projects credit union-wide and directing all aspects of member service, training, support services and e-commerce departments. Previously Columbia's senior vice president/chief lending officer, Fulk joined Columbia in 2010. He brings 26 years of financial industry experience. Prior to joining Columbia, Fulk held the chief lending officer position at a Colorado credit union. Throughout her 12 years of service to Columbia, Salvestrin has held a variety of positions, starting as a financial service representative at the branch level. Over time, she advanced to the operational side of the credit union, managing departments and corporate projects. She most recently served as vice president/corporate project manager.
The Golden 1 Credit Union, Sacramento, Calif., announced that Allyson Hill has been named vice president and controller. Hill, who is a certified public accountant, was most recently a senior manager at KPMG LLP and has 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. She holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
San Diego County Credit Union, San Diego, Calif., announced that Edward J. Marr, with more than 30 years of financial management experience, has been named senior vice president, investment officer. Marr will be involved with overseeing the credit union's investment portfolio. Marr previously served for the past five years as investment officer and treasurer with The Golden 1 Credit Union. Marr also spent 12 years with ESL Federal Credit Union of Rochester, N.Y., as treasurer. He has a bachelor's degree in accountancy from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich.

Indiana Members Credit Union, Indianapolis, announced that Jay Puckett has joined the organization as regional manager. Puckett will assist IMCU by overseeing commercial and residential lending in Hendricks County as well as actively promoting and involving IMCU with the local community. Puckett brings 26 years of experience in consumer and commercial lending to his position at IMCU. He is a graduate of Ball State University as well as the Graduate School of Banking, University of Wisconsin, and the National Commercial Lending School, American Bankers Association Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

State Department Federal Credit Union, Alexandria, Va., recently announced the development of a revised SDFCU senior team. Jan N. Roche, president/CEO, announced that Floyd Matsuda has been named chief information officer, and Bill Thorla has been hired as chief operating officer. Matsuda has been with SDFCU since 2005, most recently serving as director of information technology and responsible for converting a back-office IT department into a front-office IT services division. In his new role, Matsuda will remain based at the credit union's headquarters in Alexandria and will have an expanded responsibility for systems, networks and facilities. Thorla is a new addition to the SDFCU team, bringing with him decades of experience in the financial industry. As the chief operating officer, Thorla is responsible for leading the sales and service division, which includes branch operations, business development, marketing and lending solutions. Thorla joins State Department FCU from The Golden 1 Credit Union, where he served as senior vice president of retail administration.

Wolferding, vice president business development, will lead NewGround's business development in the Midwest. With more than 25 years experience, his expertise lies in brand positioning and strategic design-build solutions for financial organizations. Prior to joining NewGround, Wolferding was director of business development at Clayco Inc. White, vice president business development, is responsible for business development specific to financial institutions in the Western U.S. He brings more than 12 years of sales and marketing experience in the design-build industry. Prior to joining NewGround, White served as the director of business development for Clayco Inc. De Waele, vice president of national accounts/western U.S., is responsible for business development specific to retail spaces. With a background in the banking industry, he will manage sales and retail services activities in the western U.S and be based in the Northern California area. De Waele most recently worked for Brink's Company.
PSCU, St. Petersburg, Fla., has named Sam Esfahani its new chief information officer. Esfahani brings to PSCU a background in IT architecture, infrastructure and networking systems. He holds an MBA and bachelor's degrees.
