The $1.6 billion Volunteer Corporate Credit Union has announced its annual Forum, scheduled for Aug. 16-17, 2012 at the Embassy Suites in Nashville, Tenn.

The theme of Forum '12 is Digital Survival Guide, with a focus on online security, social media, risk/performance and digital transformation. 

Shari Storm, senior vice president at the $393 million Verity Credit Union, will present a session titled Social Media: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Under Storm's leadership, the Seattle-based Verity use of social media has earned it a Net.Banker Innovator of the Decade award.  She will share lessons learned, how to measure success, and give solid advice for any credit union considering social media.

Fiserv Credit Union Solutions President Mark Sievewright will present The Era of Digital Transformation and What IT means for Credit Unions, and will forecast the fundamental changes that will occur in financial services during this decade and how credit unions can respond.

Winn Schwartau, president and founder of The Security Awareness Company, and Jeff Owen, senior associate of The Rochdale Group, will also present at VolCorp's event. [email protected]
