The Holy City is an affectionate nickname for picturesque oldCharleston, S.C., because of its preponderance of historicchurches, and it was the setting for some MAD TAG Plinko during therecent Piccolo Spoleto Children's Festival. Held in conjunctionwith the 2012 Cooperative Tour by Cabot Creamery of Vermont, the event involved dropping a diskthrough a Plinko board to determine how much would be given in thechild's name to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The kidswere then offered Credit Unions for Kids stickers and MAD TAG cardsfor them and their families to pass along the goodwill and sharetheir stories. The event raised $273 to which the Credit Unions ofSouth Carolina added a zero to make the total $2,730 for thecause.
