The Holy City is an affectionate nickname for picturesque old Charleston, S.C., because of its preponderance of historic churches, and it was the setting for some MAD TAG Plinko during the recent Piccolo Spoleto Children's Festival. Held in conjunction with the 2012 Cooperative Tour by Cabot Creamery of Vermont, the event involved dropping a disk through a Plinko board to determine how much would be given in the child's name to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The kids were then offered Credit Unions for Kids stickers and MAD TAG cards for them and their families to pass along the goodwill and share their stories. The event raised $273 to which the Credit Unions of South Carolina added a zero to make the total $2,730 for the cause.
