CUNA Mutual Group said it has opened registration for its thirdannual Online Discovery Conference on Oct. 9.
|The daylong conference this year will feature full video andaudio presentations on a number of topics, as well as networkingthrough social media, live chat rooms and message boards and aninteractive exhibit hall.
|CUNA Mutual Group said the OnlineDiscovery Conference is the Web-based equivalent of aface-to-face conference without the travel or time away from theoffice. It's also free.
|The conference lineup will be announced this summer, CMGsaid.
|“We discovered that people prefer watching presentations ratherthan just listening,” said CMG's vice president of corporatecommunications, Jim Buchheim. “Therefore, videos of every sessionand the keynote speaker's presentation will be on your computerscreen for you to see and hear.”
|Buchheim called the conference an “extension of our face-to-faceconference at ACUC,” going on this week in San Diego and said whileit is targeted toward senior managers, all credit union and leagueemployees are welcome.
|Registration is online and guarantees full access to the conference and allmaterials after the event is over, Buchheim said.
