The $82 million Peoples Credit Union of Pembroke Pines, Fla.,will be using the back counter check processing solution from VSoftCorp. of Atlanta, the company and credit union said.
|The 13,300-member institution will deploy the solution throughthe company's VServe data center, positioning it to add otherofferings, such as remote deposit capture for members.
|“This new, outsourced environment improves our back officeoperations, and lays the groundwork for continual advancement,”said Jeffrey Miller, president/CEO at Peoples Credit Union.
|VSoft's back counter capture solution features automated imageand data workflows, which capture, correct, and balancetransactions and include comprehensive validation features,reducing errors and accelerating processing and adding fraud protections, the company said.
|VSoft said it now has provided Check 21 and other solutions to1,900 banks, credit unions and savings institutions.
