Last month, Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union held its annual meeting with a 75th anniversary celebration. The guest list included the credit union's first 100 members, U.S. Rep.  Scott Garrett, Paramus Mayor Richard LaBariera and State Assemblywoman Connie Wagner along with other dignitaries.

Patrick McGrath, president/CEO, and Richard Vega, chairman, presented a Lifetime Outstanding Achievement Award to Jerry D'Ambrosio who is the current treasurer. D'Ambrosio was the past president/CEO for over 35 years and retired in 2008. Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of a plaque recognizing 75 years of service to its membership by Angel Santos, business consultant from the New Jersey Credit Union League. 

The Paramus, N.J.-based Greater Alliance has $156 million in assets.
