Nearly 400,000 people attended the 9th annualBethpage Air Show on Long Island's Jones Beach this past MemorialDay weekend, its sponsors said.
|Highlights of the Saturday-Sunday event included the U.S. Navy'sBlue Angels, Royal Canadian Snowbirds, U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptorand United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, said BethpageFederal Credit Union and the New York State Office of Parks,Recreation and Historic Preservation.

|Other events included two Facebook contests the credit unionconducted for fans to meet performers at a planeside reception. Thecredit union also sponsored Bethpage show pilot and motivationalspeaker Ed Hamill's “Follow Your Dreams” presentation tounderserved students from the Westbury and Uniondale schooldistricts.
