The $2 billion Redwood Credit Union of Santa Rosa, Calif.,sponsored and participated in the annual Apple Blossom Parade, aspringtime tradition in Sebastopol, Calif., that dates to 1947.
Forty RCU volunteers, including employees, family and friends,participated in the parade, which carried the theme, “Old McBlossomon a Farm,” a celebration of local farmers.
RCU opened a branch in Sebastopol last fall. Last year, RCUstaff participated in more than 480 events and contributed 3,800plus hours to local communities, the 218,000-member credit unionsaid.
