CU*South said it has converted six credit unions to the CU*BASE core processing platform in the past 12 months.

They are the $136 million Taunton Federal CU in Taunton, Mass.; the $27 million MUNA Federal CU in Meridian, Miss.; the $8.7 million Elizabeth NJ Firemen's FCU in Elizabeth, N.J. the $5.9 million Birmingham Police CU in Birmingham, Ala.; the $8 million St. Joseph Broadmoor FCU in Shreveport, La.; and Glove Workers FCU, now merged into the $13.6 million First Neshoba FCU, in Philadelphia, Miss.

"With each conversion, we identified immediate benefits to the member," said Leo Vaulin, CEO of the CUSO in Fairhope, Ala. "In some cases, it was mobile and text banking, or a better membership reward program. In other cases, it was 24×7 loan approval or more self-service options through our online banking platform."
