The NCUA has banned the former manager of a small Illinois credit union from participating in the affairs of any federally insured financial institution.

Cynthia Harvey of the failed $1 million Allied Tube Employees FCU in Harvey, Ill., had been convicted of federal credit union fraud and sentenced to 41 months in prison and three years of supervised probation.

Harvey also was ordered to pay $802,619 in restitution, the NCUA said in Friday's announcement.
