ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Card Services for Credit Unions, the association of creditunions that process payment transactions with FIS, celebratedcredit unions which had strong card marketing programs in 2011 at acelebratory luncheon.

The Thursday event was held in conjunction with theassociation's annual meeting which runs until Sunday.

“This is always one of my favorite parts of the annual meeting,”Bill Lehman, CSCU's vice president for portfolio consulting,told the assembled credit union payment executives. “It's a chancefor us to recognize and celebrate the credit unions which have donean outstanding job marketing their card programs.”

Credit unions submit applications detailing their card marketingefforts in an attempt to win one of the card marketing CAMEOawards.

Judging the marketing programs in search of a winner is a taskthat grows more difficult every year, Lehman told theexecutives.
