Just a few months after converting to a new core processingsystem, South Bay Credit Union has added an iPhone app the smallcredit union co-developed with its new core processor.

The $70 million Los Angeles credit union worked with CU*NorthWest, a CUSO based in Liberty Lake, Wash., that offersthe CU*BASE core processing system from CU*Answers in Grand Rapids,Mich.

South Bay got browser-based and text mobile banking when itconvertedlast fall but wanted its own smartphone apps.
