Heather Anderson is the new Washington reporter for CreditUnion Times. She previously served as a correspondent from2005 through 2010.

Anderson will be responsible for covering the NCUA and otherrelevant regulators, the national credit union trade associationsand political news as it pertains to credit unions. She will alsoassist in the corporate credit union beat, which she covered forCU Times during the corporate meltdown and so-called BlackFriday when the NCUA seized the three largest corporates.

Anderson attended Kansas State University's A.Q. Miller Schoolof Journalism, and has placed freelance articles in several majormetropolitan daily newspapers, including The Los Angeles Times,San Diego Union-Tribune, Austin American-Statesman, Cleveland PlainDealer and Kansas City Star.
